    It’s Not Just Drafting Players, It’s Drafting The Future To The NFL

    It’s officially time for the NFL (National Football League) to start drafting. The last time there was a draft was last year, where teams like Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Los Angeles Chargers, got some amazing players that allowed them to make tremendous improvements in their skills. In the draft this year, the NFL will be getting 257 new players. The top ten players according to ESPN are: Travis Hunter, Mason Graham, Ashton Jeanty, Tyler Warren, Jalon Walker, Cam Ward, Armand Membou, Mykel Williams, and Colston Loveland. Out of those, the first three picks were.

     Cam Ward, who plays the position quarterback, he is drafted to play on the Tennessee Titans, and is best known for his natural play making ability. In college football he played for the University of the Incarnate Word, where he was a quarterback, this will help the Tennessee titans greatly sense they haven’t had a good quarterback in years.

     Travis Hunter, who also plays the position of quarterback, is drafted to play for the Jacksonville Jaguars, and is said to be most skilled at making consistent catches. In college football he played for the University of Colorado, where he played quarterback this will help in his dreams to play both defense and offence which the Jaguars intend on supporting.

     Abdul Carter is drafted to play on the New York Giants and plays the position of linebacker, he is best known for his ability to pass-rusher. In college football he played for Penn State where he was the linebacker, in the New York Giants he should help their defense and edge rusher sense they already have two great edge rushers, all three of them are on the New York Giants are said to make one of the best edge rushers in the league. The drafts were sent out from April 24 to 26, 2025.

    The NFL has not started yet, but it is scheduled to start on September 4th. The team that will be hosting the kickoff game will be the Philadelphia Eagles. It has not yet been decided who will be playing them in the kick off game. All players are required to be at least three years out of high school.
