There are a number of people at the K-8 who watch anime, and here are some of their perspectives on it. River B., is a seventh grader who has watched over 900 animes, including Arifureta which is his favorite anime, and Shield Hero which is what he is watching currently. The thing River likes about anime is the story building and action. 

Zippy, who watches anime on the regular, has watched two animes, and her favorite anime is Jujutsu Kaisen. What she loves about anime is how creative it is.

Another student sixth-grader Rowan, said that he likes the action, good stories, and the emotional moments. His favorite anime is One Piece and he is currently watching Fire Force and Chainsaw Man. In total Rowan says he has completed around 9 anime.

Serena is an 8th grader who also loves anime. She has watched 6 or 7 anime including her favorite anime, Hunter X Hunter. She is currently watching Attack on Titan. The thing she loves about anime is how unrealistic it can be and that “it’s swag.”

Our final interview was with Ricky, an 8th grader who loves Naruto. In total he has watched 3 animes and is not watching any anime currently. Ricky says he likes how beautiful it is.
