Bravo officially started on 3/10/25 for Mendocino K-8 as soon as the 7th and 8th graders are let out of 5th period for lunch. Bravo is a game played at the Mendocino K-8 where students have a spoon and a target. If they tag their target while they are not holding their spoon they are out and they have to give their spoon to the person who tagged them. Also tell them their target. The students will receive their spoons and targets on 3/7/25.
The Mendocino K-8 has done Bravo with their 7th and 8th grade students for at least 10 years. Every student will receive a spoon and will be allowed to decorate it as long as it’s school appropriate. Some teachers also play. We don’t know who it is so watch your back!
The rules to Bravo are posted on all of the classroom doors along with receiving a paper version. They are also in Ms. Fredricks google classroom along with being emailed to the students parents. Here is a link to the rules: Last year there was a three way tie over who won. The students that were top three were Grant, Clarabelle, and Anne.
Students are getting creative! Only two spoons will be provided to students and teachers.

Bravo is also played at the Mendocino High School. There are a lot of very artistic spoons with amazing decorations. Here are a few of them.
