A few weeks ago the whole Mendocino K-8 school went to Big River Beach as a class reward! Many kids and teachers thought it was super fun with all kinds of activities to do. We were very lucky to score a sunny day.

If we got a certain amount of tickets, (which are a piece of paper you get when you are caught being good) the school said we were going to get a school wide trip. We finally reached our goal and got to go on the trip. We were there for a total of 4 hours. There was football, volleyball, sand castle building, and more! 

Overall, nearly everyone had a fun time socializing and being out of class.
