In Ms. Iana ‘s first grade class, the students noticed a lot of trash on the playground, so they started going out on the playground every Tuesday to pick up trash. They get gloves and trash bags and then run out and get as much trash as they can. The first grade class does something very similar to the Seventh and Eighth graders, this is kind of their community service.                                                                                                                                            

On Tuesday, October 8, 2024, the kids picked up over 100 pieces of trash in just about 15 minutes. Some of the kids found stuff like water bottles and lunch boxes and even some coins. All the kids were having so much fun while doing it. After all their hard work they got to go play on the playground.
